Timothy Desmet wants to take his career in a different direction, and so is leaving Profacts as from February 1st. He looks back with great satisfaction upon the last 12 years, during which time he has, together with Stijn De Rammelaere, developed Profacts into a leading market research and advisory agency.

Tim Desmet: “After a 12-year academic career at Ghent University and a 12-year entrepreneurial adventure at Profacts, I'm really hungry to do something totally different. In the coming months I will take some time out to decide on my future plans.”

Carine Vaeremans, who has been CEO since April 2017, will become Profacts' new shareholder, joining Stijn De Rammelaere and Duval Union.

Carine Vaeremans: “In recent years, Profacts has experienced strong growth. I'm very excited about this opportunity to realise our future ambitions, together with a dynamic team. After the recent takeovers of ICMA, Emolytics and Impulse, we are focusing more than ever before on innovation and future-proof research and advice for our customers.”

Stijn De Rammelaere: “I've been on a great journey with Tim, and wish him all the very best for the future. It's fantastic that Carine and Profacts' existing shareholders are committed to further growing the business, and I can't wait to continue building upon our success.”
