Brussels Motor Show expects massive turnout once again

16/1/2018

A survey (*) organised by Profacts shows that 22% of Belgians who are considering buying a new car in 2018 intend to visit the motor show. That is no surprise, given that the show is a clear number one when it comes to providing people with all the info that they need.

Buying a new car is one of the main reasons for women to visit the show (20%), while it only explains 10% of male visitors. Instead, men visit the show to stay up to date with the latest innovations (41%) or simply to enjoy a day out (40%). These figures are considerably lower for women.

36% of the visitors were very happy about their visit to a previous edition of the motor show, with a total satisfaction figure of 77%.

22% of Belgians who consider buying a new car in 2018 intend to visit the Brussels Motor Show.

55% of Belgians have never visited the motor show. The main reason for not attending (55%) is that they are simply not interested in (new) cars. 20% have not been because there are too many people there, 7% avoid it because of the price, and another 7% because of the location (Brussels).
